End User License Agreement
Updated Thursday, September 28, 2023
You agree to be bound by the terms of the following END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA). Failure to comply will invalidate your license. If you do not agree, do not install or use Rhinoceros. You may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
This EULA is a legal agreement between You (the entity that owns the license), and Robert McNeel & Associates (Us, We) for the Software (Rhinoceros and associated online documentation and content).
Rhinoceros (Rhino) is owned by TLM, Inc. d.b.a. Robert McNeel & Associates. Rhinoceros is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. Rhinoceros is licensed, not sold.
We grant you license to use the Software so long as:
- The License is installed on a computer or virtual machine you own, lease, rent, or license.
- The number of login sessions running the Software at the same time does not exceed the number of licenses you own.
To simplify management of multiple licenses, computers, and users, we recommend you install your license in the Zoo or the Cloud Zoo. Visit https://www.rhino3d.com/licensing for details.
Unless otherwise noted, each license key is a single (1) User license. Educational Lab and Not For Resale Lab licenses are thirty (30) User licenses.
An Upgrade License extends your existing License to include running a newer version of Rhino. An Upgrade License does not change the number of Users who can use Rhino simultaneously.
You must treat this Software just like a book or any other copyrighted material (e.g., recordings and film). You may make archival copies of the Software. You may not distribute any portion of the Software or materials accompanying the Software.
You agree that you will not (nor authorize third parties to) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble (except to the extent applicable laws specifically require that such activities be permitted) or attempt to derive the source code, underlying ideas, algorithm or structure of software provided to you in object code form.
License validation may be required on each computer after installation.
Educational, Educational Lab, Not For Resale, and Not For Resale Lab licenses are not transferable and cannot be sold, shared, used by, or transferred to another user or entity.
Robert McNeel & Associates makes no warranty, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, regarding the Software or accompanying materials. The Software and accompanying materials are provided solely on an as-is basis.
In no event shall Robert McNeel & Associates be liable for any special, collateral, incidental, or consequential damages in connection with or arising out of the use of the Software and accompanying materials.
This product may send anonymous usage information. To opt out of anonymous reporting, consult your product documentation.
