About McNeel

Background

Robert McNeel & Associates, (TLM, Inc.) founded in 1980, is a privately-held, employee-owned company with development, sales support, training offices, and affiliates in Seattle, Boston, Miami, Medellin, Barcelona, Rome, Tokyo, Taipei, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. We also have more than 700 dealers, distributors, OEMs, and training centers around the world.

We are most successful when we partner with our clients to shape emerging technologies into productive and profitable tools.

For the first fifteen years, we focused on replacing drafting tables with productive AutoCAD systems. Much of our new software development focused on using AutoCAD drawings and related data in all business processes, including design, planning, marketing, and maintenance.

For more than 20 years, we also focused on developing, publishing, and supporting Rhino and related products for designers, engineers, fabricators, and their support staff.

McNeel Latin America (McNeel Miami), founded in 1995, is the Latin American and Southeastern US headquarters for McNeel. McNeel Miami is responsible for sales, marketing, training, and support of all McNeel products in their region.

McNeel Miami also develops the Rhino Visual Tips tutorials and the Rhino3D.Education tutorial web site. McNeel Miami is the headquarters for the RhinoFabStudio affiliations.

McNeel Europe, founded in 1998, is the European, Middle Eastern, and African (EMEA) headquarters for Robert McNeel & Associates. Based in Barcelona, McNeel Europe is responsible for sales, marketing, training, support, and localization of all McNeel products in EMEA.

McNeel Europe also develops Food4Rhino and other Rhino related products. It also manages the McNeel Research projects.

McNeel Asia, founded in 1995, is the Asian regional headquarters office responsible for localization, sales, marketing, support, and training across the Asian region.

McNeel Korea, founded in 2022, is the Korean regional office responsible for sales, marketing, support, and training in Korea.
