Value Protect

Step 1

Visit Maersk.com and submit your container booking as per the usual process. After entering your booking details and the price owner, scroll down and fill out the information required:

• Departure date
• Commodity type
• Number of containers
• Container type and size
• Weight per container

Click on the ‘Continue’ button.

Step 2

What you see on the ‘Sailing’ page is what you get. Click on ‘Select’ to book the vessel without waiting for availability confirmation.
This will take you to the ‘Additional Information’ page.

Step 3

On the ‘Additional Information’ page, you will see the container yard (CY) where the containers are in stock. Choose your pick-up yard and select ‘Pick-up date’.
Scroll down to ‘Additional products and services’ to see the optional value-added services.

Step 4

From the ‘Additional products and services’ options, select only one Value Protect package that suits your needs. The selected package is then applied to all containers in your booking.
Click ‘Review Booking’ to proceed.

Step 5

Under the ‘Review’ page, you can go through your selection once more. Review your booking details and check the Value Protect information in the ‘Additional Details’ tab.
Submit your booking for instant confirmation by clicking on ‘Submit booking’.
