Tariff
- Reefer demurrage includes plug-in/electricity charges.
- Reefer container with IMO follows Reefer.
- Non-operating reefer (NOR) is considered as Dry Container.
- Non-operating reefer (NOR) is considered as Dry Container for both Demurrage and Detention.
- Shipper's own containers (SOC) are not subject to detention and are subject to demurrage.
- For Shipper’s own containers (SOC) at non NWK locations, we have a single SOC DMR rate (no matter cntr/cargo type). At NWK locations, we have a separate SOC DMR rate and a Tank DMR rate.
Export Detention
- Free time for carrier’s equipment commences on the day equipment departs from carrier’s container yard.
- Working Day are defined as any day with operating gates and will be counted as working days for full loads received at terminals. These days will be countable days within the free time period for detention
- If a return location is closed for a full working day during the freetime period, or requiring dual transactions for return, and an alternate return location is not available within the same geographical area, the day will not count against the cargo freetime. Partial day closures are considered as a full working day and count towards freetime. When freetime expires, detention will accrue for each day irrespective of whether the facility is open or closed, given the full freetime period was given to ingate the cargo.
- For export detention, if the earliest receipt date publicly communicated by the terminal changes for a shipment while the container is in the customer’s possession for stuffing and within its free time period, we will extend the detention free time by the number of working days between the previous earliest receipt date and new earliest receipt date for the shipment.

Export Demurrage
- Free time will commence on the first calendar day following the equipment's arrival at the loading port. Free time is 7 calendar days including Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. After expiration of free time, equipment remaining on the loading port will be assessed demurrage as follows:
- For containers in-gated prior to the shipment’s earliest receipt date, but loads its originally scheduled vessel, demurrage will apply for each calendar day including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays prior to the earliest receipt date.
- For containers in-gated before, on, or after the earliest receipt date, and do not load its originally scheduled vessel for any reason not a result of Carrier error, demurrage will apply per calendar day including Saturdays, Sundays and holidays until the cargo loads, or scheduled vessel sail date, whichever event occurs first.
