UPS Trade Direct® Services

Cross the world in fewer steps to boost your competitive edge, streamline customs clearance and speed delivery to customers.
How UPS Trade Direct works
  • 1 icon

Final destination delivery labels for each domestic consignee are prepared and attached at the shipment's point of origin, eliminating the need to sort or store the goods in the U.S.

  • 2 icon

Pre-labeled shipments, whether freight or individual packages, are picked up and consolidated into one shipment. Handling is streamlined and there is no need for additional carriers.

  • 3 icon

After the shipment crosses the border, the entire shipment is cleared through customs “as one” to minimize clearance fees.

  • 4 icon

Once in the U.S., packages in the shipment are deconsolidated and dropped straight into the UPS domestic delivery network. Because there's no need for a DC, costs and time are saved.
