Maersk Air Cargo A/S is a global cargo airline with our own fleet of aircrafts, specialising in providing highly reliable cargo capacity. The company (previously under the registered name Star Air A/S) was founded in 1987, operating regular scheduled flights from hubs in Cologne and Leipzig in Germany, catering for global customers within the parcel and express delivery segment. Flights are also operated out of Denmark’s second-largest airport in Billund, serving Maersk customers as part of integrated end-to-end supply chain solutions.

Seamless transport with own controlled network

Along with the air freight capacity provided through our airline partner program, we also offer air freight capacity on freighter aircraft flying scheduled routes that are fully controlled by Maersk. With own controlled capacity, we provide the highest level of reliability and operate to airports that are less congested, providing ease and faster clearance timelines. Our own controlled network enables us to bring a new level of efficiency to integrated logistics.
