The following changes will take effect December 25, 2022, for imports into the United States cleared by UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. Customers affected by these changes will see it on their brokerage fee schedule.
- Entry preparation fees for air and ocean modes of transportation will increase an average of 3.9 percent
- Entry preparation fees for ground imports via the U.S. northern border will increase an average of 4.7 percent
- Entry preparation fees for ground imports via the U.S. southern border will increase an average of 3.4 percent
- Where applicable, the following fees will change or apply:

(2)This fee is assessed when carriers initiate shipment changes (changed port of entry, updated date/time of arrival, contact information, etc) leading to the update/cancellation of PARS submitted information. The fee covers the research, time and resources needed to find, update or cancel the original PARS. Failing to modify/cancel the PARS may lead to customs delays and/or penalties under the Administrative Monetary Penalty System, applicable to the importer.
